ABOUT PRABHURAJ
Prabhuraj is a writer, director and producer with over four decades of experience across theatre, cinema, television, fashion and large-scale productions. Blending creative storytelling with practical production leadership, he has built a career spanning feature films, international productions, and talent development.

THE FOUNDATION
(1981–1990)
Prabhuraj's journey began in theatre at the age of 13, where he wrote, directed and acted in his first Marathi play, where he won the Best Acting Medal.
Theatre became the foundation of his storytelling and performance.
In pursuit of cinema, he travelled daily between Pune and Mumbai, often surviving on minimal resources while visiting studios and learning through hands-on experience.
His persistence eventually led him to FTII, where he worked on student films and deepened his understanding of direction, performance and filmmaking.
In 1988, he entered the film industry as an Assistant Director, beginning a lifelong journey from theatre to mainstream cinema.
FASHION & EVENT INDUSTRY (1991–1999)
During the 1990s, Prabhuraj emerged as one of Pune’s pioneering entrepreneurs in fashion and live events, building platforms that combined creativity, talent development and large-scale execution.
